strange buzzing occuring (windows7)

The past 2 weeks I've noticed a slight buzzing sound happening while playing media files or playing movies. Itunes, WMP, any player it happens and it's very annoying. Anyone have a solution? I've read alot on this issue and it seems to be common.

your speakers are going bad? Or the volume is turned up way too far for the speakers to handle thus it's picking up noise or something.

No my speakers are in great shape (klipsch makes them). This has got to do with sound drivers or whatever the case maybe.

Okay it's not the speakers...I got a pair of the Promedia 2.1's myself :P not including the custom 1, image s4, reference s4, and image one......

Maybe try separating the audio cable from the power cable to the computer? There's some source of noise that's being introduced.
