I love reading up and finding out about these older bands, of course Eagles broke up around '80 and Don Henley went solo.
I'll put on one of his shortly.

Saw the Eagles live at the California Jam in 1974. Jackson Browne played with them as a guest. Was a big fan of both the Eagles and Jackson Browne.

Jakson Browne and the Eagles were friends before their success. Jackson Browne and Glenn Frey lived in the same building for a while before they became famous.

Jackson Browne wrote the beginning of "Take It Easy" in that building on the piano, and Glenn frey finished writing the song, with Jackson Browne's permission, of course.

The Eagles recorded it and it was a big hit for them. Jackson Browne recorder it later.

Got most of that from an Eagles documentary on HBO.
