128i in assetto corsa
Hey everyone, I took an existing 135i for assetto corsa and tuned the engine, transmission gears and final drive to stock 128i specs. I don't take any credit for the 135i development, just want to share this for any 128i owners that want to drive a 128i in assetto corsa.
I did some driving on cayuga in assetto corsa and it was pretty similar to my real life experience in the 128i in terms of speeds and rpms hit in the straights and turns so pretty accurate. I made no cosmetic changes so the car still has the 135i badging and it's still a dct. Hope you enjoy. If there is interested I'll upload it to a google drive or megaupload or something. |

By the way, I myself just recently discovered this great racing simulator. I like the realism, if you want, we can play multiplayer together in Assetto Corsa, that's what we do with friends.

That's really cool that you've taken the time to create a 128i mod for Assetto Corsa. It's great to see the community working together to bring more realism to the game. I'm sure 128i owners will appreciate the opportunity to experience their car in a virtual world.
If you're interested in uploading the mod to a file-sharing service, I'm sure many people would be happy to download it. Just let us know where you post it and we'll share the link with the community. Thanks for your contribution to the Assetto Corsa modding community! |

I just wish it had the option for manual shifter mode. I have been looking for the 128i mod in AC for a long time. Well ever since I bought mine back in 2019. I need to learn how you create or edit mods for AC. It's probably something I could enjoy doing. I guess this will have to do for now. I am not sure it's correct though. I just did almost 10 seconds a lap faster at Mont Tremblant on AC than I did IRL in my own car. Granted, there IS the "No Fear" factor when driving the sim versus the real thing. (I'm talking about you, Turn 2!) But I don't know if that actually equates to a 10 second difference. Anyways thanks! |
