Other than the obvious potential for danger, that was really cool.

It's hilarious that the driver pumped the brake pedal while airborne. Hope they made it out OK. It looks like there was minimal cabin intrusion.

Yeah from the little info I could find on it, nothing mentioned a fatality. I'm sure he/she sh*t their pants though. I cant even imagine what they were thinking as they were mashing the brakes in mid air, definitely got some air time!

I think that was the hazard lights coming on because the car sensed an accident.

I'm thinking it might be time for them to reconsider their barriers / dividers...or at least make a competition out of it with prizes for best jumps...though we know how the judges from East Germany will behave.

Remind me not to drive there.... I remember when I was a junior claims handler I had a fatality in a VR6 Corrado come across my desk. The car hit the side of the bridge and the driver was ejected.... found some 50 ft away. Hope the driver made it out of this one safely.... if not a little bruised.
