I remember that people said the Nats were favored to win the World Series this year...
*sobs uncontrollably* But yes, since we're so far into the season it's safe the say the Yankees pretty much have it. |

"Premature" would be an understatement at this point in the season.

They're certainly teaching the Stockings a lesson!
It might just be a tiny bit premature stating they are going to win the World Series though |

Done and Done.
They have looked good so far, but that bullpen is going to get worn out. The starters need to go deeper into games.

CC is going to have a long season. His fastball is around 90. Hopefully he could find a way to get back on track. I was predicting 10-12 wins. So far it doesn't look good. The AL east is up for grabs.

They have two great power hitters (Bautista and Encarnacion)in the middle of the lineup who feast on fastballs but are disciplined with balls out of the strike zone. Mistakes not only go over the wall but wind up as hard hit doubles. Really wears out the pitchers going through them 4-5x's a game.
Plus the Yankees, in the past especially, were not a speed team and the turf hurt them.

I've been a huge A-Rod fan since his days with the Rangers so him coming to the Yankees was a dream come true. Haven't turned my back on him and never will. Still my favorite player and so far, he's one of the most productive players in the MLB. Call me biased but him the in the lineup makes the Yankees batting order so much more formidable. I don't care if he'll be 40-years old soon - the pitchers will still pitch to him carefully because of the 662-homeruns and counting. He's paid his dues so I'm happy he's back to playing baseball and nothing else. "An A-Bomb, from A-Rod!"

I've been a fan since the Hensley Muelens days. The AL (L)east is weak but the Yankees may need another starter. Chris Capuano is trash and we cannot count on Nova as he's been a average pitcher at best with some glimpses. Plus he's coming off of TJS.
