I've been at a few road courses out here and have hit 120 at best at thunderhill, laguna seca was slower than that even.

The 140 was in a Stage III 2001 Audi S4. the thing is a beast...

155mph in a 645Ci. Sport mode, DS, long straight on highway, 12:30am, no one around...fun. Wouldn't do it out in public again though...unless it was a PROceeded 335i.

haha, 100 mph on an empty highway with my 328xi, racing against a 335i... who was already over 130mph, lol! No contest!!

You see, the best part about the highway "circuit" I use is that there are absolutely NO places to set up speed traps. It's great. Plus (a MAJOR plus), you can see cars entering from the ramps miles away. If you've got good enough eyesight, spotting cops is easy as cake.

...I know I'm gonna get caught, but I haven't yet...and I've been doing this at least every other day. I think my luck boosts 250% when I step in a car.

And I know to back off when there's even the slightest amount of traffic on the road.

In the UK, 155 indicated on a bike, bored out 1982 ish Suzuki 1100 on the M1. 145 indicated in a stock Ford Cosworth Sierra. M6 near Birmingham. 1985 ish.

In the US, 150 indicated in a 2004 C5. On I95 near Baltimore, one dark night, left brains at home.

Only had the 330 up to 110.
