I'm all set with my 2013 128i M-Sport stick.
That's my future ICE classic I expect to have to drive 50 miles to fill up when no gas stations remain.

My logic for buying a V8 was this is the last chance saloon. Even if they haven't been outlawed before 2030, it's going to be £5 a liter of super long before then...

M760i. Don't drive many miles now that I have a corporate daily driver, so the fuel cost is not a big factor. I'll likely keep it 10-12 years minimum. I'm sure it's my "last" ICE car, so why not get a "real" one.

going to test drive a 2011 e92 m3 tomorrow (dct). Been about 6-7 years since i got behind the wheel of one. Will see how it goes. I've been looking for an f80 replacement and drove the m2c and lc500, but didn't really care for either.

Considering BMW just designed and built a brand new V8 engine, the S68, I would expect another 6+ years worth of V8 Power from BMW. Sure they're adding a very small 48 volt system that mounts directly to the transmission, but that's more or less for helping starts during stop n go traffic. This new S68 will be in EVERY V8 platform from the M5 to everything M-lite. The new M5 is rumored to have 700+ HP.

I had my 135i roughly 6k miles over 1.5 years (I bought it with 25k miles on it) and ditched it once we couldn't figure out if the horrible noise was the beginning of rod knock or something in the DCT. |

After scouring the market for anything that could potentially replace my FF, I have come to the conclusion that the FF is simply the best all around car ever made. There’s truly nothing like it. But I still want to roll around in a Phantom Coupe or Brooklands coupe one of these days…

I expect I'll keep my M5 for a couple more years and replace it as soon as the new version comes out, assuming it will be 8 cylinders + electric boost.
