Damn, totally forgot about this thread. Just did oysters on my grill last weekend. Not worth it though, no grill flavoring

Tsk tsk. Though who knows, maybe you accomplished both. If so, that's a solid pass in my books.
Once the meat is warm, the grill has done its job and falls out of the mind, as I concentrate on feeding said meat to the girl, working towards the dessert menu.

Said girl is fascinated by rain (since it's so rare here in Cali?) so while working towards dessert and seeing the rain outside, my attention was then drawn back to the poor wet grill standing alone, unprotected, weeping in the rain. Dessert wasn't progressing very well, so took pity on the grill

Anyone have issues with mice? Have had to tear down and clean my SUmmit series weber twice this spring, set traps and caught one as well as blocked most entrances with wire but they ALWAYS find a way in.

So you fed her your meat. A+

When you say dessert wasn't progressing very well, is that due to an issue in the prep, or was it because someone was talking when he should have been listening?

Even if we consider "hound years" I've probably had far more time in the collar

...and nesting birds. After nearly Bbq'ing one of the new tenants, I had to lift the bottom grate each time, to check that it was clear to light.

Found the solution was to grill every day...

So, I was at the local big box store, and they have all these electrical charcoal smoker devices. I have the basic bullet smoker, but it's so difficult for me to get the temp to stay in the zone that I use it about once every other year. Should I consider buying a combo one?

I have a grill. It takes up room in my garage. Next to all the grill accessories. I look at it every now and then when we get in the car to drive to the local BBQ joint.

Screw you both - you are making me so hungry right now. Poppers would totally hit the spot.

Father's day is coming up - I'm thinking a nice tomahawk steak with some poppers and homefries.
