There's a good Youtube vid out there about Harbor Freight stuff where the reviewer basically says, "If failure of a tool or device will injure or kill you, don't buy from HF. Otherwise, it's a good place to find deals." I totally agree. I have some LED shop lights from HF that were dirt cheap and work fine.

I have bought a lot of power tools, hand tools, carts...etc from there and had zero issues other than an oscillating tool that wasn't powerful enough. Upgraded to a bigger battery and put that in and it worked fine.

I don't mind spending extra money on nice power tools but if I am going to use things every now and then, I will go to HF. I have a mixture of Dewalt power tools and the HF brand, Bauer.

Be careful even then-- I had one of HFT's triangle jacks collapse on me while I was changing a tire on my wife's RDX. There are some things that work fine from HFT, but Chinesium triangle jacks aren't one of them.

Thank you for the heads up flybigjet

Do you have a few jack stands you recommend then?

Thank you!

Thank you!
I got these on Amazon. MUCH happier with them. They're very solid in comparison to the previous HFT ones (the remaining three of which went into my trash immediately following the collapse under my wife's RDX.)

I agree that HFT is good for "once in a while tools", tarps, and other throwaway items.

BUT, for stuff that can injure/maim/kill me (yes, HFT triangle jacks, I'm looking at you!)-- I'll get something better.

https://images.harborfreight.com/hft...1196_61197.pdf

(I'm pretty sure I had the jack stands on the right)

This is a kitchen knife, not designed as a weapon.
Not intended to be anything controversial.

But it appears to be a pretty nice knife that is currently on sale.
I believe it's mfg in the USA by Skallywag Tactical.

Thumbs up

After thorough research, I decided on PUFFY Adjustable Twin XL bedframes for our new mattresses.
these things are supremely well built and heavy AF!
In addition to the adjustments they also include separate backlit remote controls, massage, led foot lights and usb charging connections.
Highly recommend!

I’m basically trying to build a poor man iron block LS2 engine. The short block is from a Chevy Silverado 2500

I haven’t decided on the cylinder heads yet. Once I do I will tear this down and talk to the machinist for cleaning and honing. Assembly is on me.

This will go with an Aisin AR5 manual transmission.

The rest is pretty much a LSE90.com swap. It’ll be a long time from now since I’m just collecting parts and the car is running great.
