Lake Piru. Hadn’t been up there in probably 20 years. So full right now but boats not allowed yet, maybe next week

Second is the Fillmore Fish hatchery. Now they just put out 5-gallon buckets of fish food to throw in the tanks. It’s the simple things in life!

^yup, figured I best put the Galápagos tortoise pic in because the bay/lagoon scene is rather generic. Specifically, Academy Bay on Santa Cruz Island of the chain. The tortoise was photographed further inland. Who knew that the GIs were a destination vacay for Humboldt folks?
