It looks like Mt. Rainier in the background. If it is, then it's the port in Seattle.

Not too fast at all. The time I was teasing you about giving other people a chance was so you wouldn't ruin it for others about a photo about ruins. It was just a misunderstood joke.

You go as fast as you like. If we can't keep up, so be it.

By the way, it's not Seattle.

Okay... There's Japanese writing, so it Mt Fuji in the background. I'll find the port...

There are many ports with a view of the mountain but I'll guess Yokohama.

And it's possible that the picture was taken from the Ōsanbashi International terminal.

You are in the correct country. Not Yokohama however. Maybe these photos will help. The view of Mt. Fuji was amazing after being hidden by clouds earlier in the day.

Shimizu Port. Was the picture taken from a cruise ship?

We walked around a lot and I took many photos of Mt. Fuji as it was unveiled. My last photos were from the cruise ship as we were about to leave port. I think these two shots are from the ship.

Thanks. It was a fabulous trip. I was lucky twice with Mt. Fuji. In addition to seeing it at the port, my wife and I first saw it as we came out of a tunnel on the train going from Tokyo to Kyoto. All of a sudden, there it was! Japan is an amazing country to visit. I would love to go back again.

Careful how you phrase that. Someone might get the wrong idea.

That was a shot I grabbed around Christmas one year when we went back east. "Glosta" is a pretty cool place. Awesome seafood there, of course.

Black Elk Wilderness is my go-to area when bringing people on their first backpacking trip. It's challenging enough, but elevation doesn't destroy you.
