such a bucket list thing. We have a cottage in the NY Finger Lakes and got texts from a few friends they were visible up there last night. Of course we were in South East PA and missed them. Great pic. Do you know how long the exposure time was?

So your daughter has a killer tract of land as well, eh? No shortage of places to hang out in the nice weather in your fam.

Awesome pic, BTW.

We love Lake Garda. My wife and I joined some Swiss relatives who spent their vacations at Lake Garda so they knew their way around. What a gem.

Here are some of my favorite photos from that trip. Thanks for stirring the old memories.

We stayed at Moniga del Garda opposite bank from Sirmione, loved it there, my sister in law also loved it and recommended it to us, loved it so much they named their house Sirmione, l would love to return

We took a Avon Inflatable with a Mariner 4hp outboard with us and had a fantastic time

Yeah, it could've hit your house. I'd say you were lucky. Luck of the Irish?

Not Irish but I'll take luck where I can find it. Had another one crack like that behind the house that took out two small green houses. Had both trees taken down (holy crap $$$) and have decided to put in a wood burning stove now that I have enough fuel for a few years.

I'm half Irish and I'll take luck any way it comes. Gotta 30+ year old pine tree that my daughter and I planted when she was about 9 that I've been a bit worried about because of all the rain and wind we've been getting here in SoCal.

Years ago I watched one of our big trees come down after a storm with a lot of rain and wind so it makes me a little nervous about our beloved pine going down in a big storm. Maybe being half Irish is all the luck I need to keep this tree standing.
