So who recons that was pivotal in the championship?
I think Max will do it now.

Very good drive by Max, flawless. Maybe that'll do it, depends on the next few races. If RB is faster in mexico as well then I think that does it.

Amazing tension the last few laps. Enjoyable day for sure.

And Max should be buying mick a drink for gifting him DRS down that pit straight.

That was just the perfect scenario. DRS enables AND he let him pass…talk about getting the cards to fall perfectly to ensure the victory.

This is going to be hard for HAM to overcome and pass VER for the drivers championship and now the constructors isn't looking like a lock either for Mercedes. Going to be one hell of a finish this season.

Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time so very happy about that race, lots of drama in the mid field as well. Overall a fantastic race, all races need to be like this and maybe we will have it next year with smaller cars that are less susceptible to dirty air and also produce less dirty air.

Great race! Disappointed Lewis couldn't catch Max in the end but oh well. The Ferrari Mclaren battle was fun to watch as well.

It's crazy how much faster Lewis and Max are than everyone else. They separated themselves early and never looked back.

Holy Scheisse, what a race...VER definitely owes MSC a beer

I was on the edge of my seat! I really thought HAM & MERC got it right. Glad there wasn't another lap.

Don't forget Yuki, he's getting better alright.

Seb also pushed into the points too which is impressive.

Mick probably didn't even realise it, he just saw a blue/red blur coming up to him in the mirrors and froze

Awseome awesome race. I thought they pitted Max 3 or 4 laps too early on the first hard tire stint and was sure Ham was gonna walk him down by the end with with tires being much fresher(6 or 7 laps I think?). Shows that Merc is not good in dirty air with Bottas having a really hard time pass Sainz too. Hopefully neither gets a DNF the rest of the way and the WDC gets decided at Abu Dhabi. Also thought it was gold that Alonso was complaining about Kimi passing him after he pushed Kimi off track at turn 1, like wtf are you complaining about him going off track for when you pushed him there and took some bodywork off of him too?

With high altitude Mexico coming up and Brazil after it will be tight, they say RB has advantage there but in all honesty Max should have enough points leverage to sideline Ham at the end.

I don't really like Pole being on the outside. Think I'd rather start P2

Move Pole to inside? But that puts P1 driver on the dirty side

Quirk of the track I guess

Amazing drive from Checo, didn't have a drink all race, due to the drink system malfunction.

I bet he was dehydrated and wanted to throw up.

I know those feels.
