i am completely enamored with my order... i love driving it, and breaking it in is like another waiting period with the car, except i actually have it now.. anyone feel this way? haha is anyone even breaking theirs in?

I have not even gotten my car yet, i am still waiting i have not heard anything from my CA, has anyone that ordered from Open Road BMW gotten their car??? Has anyone that did ED that was on the Courage gotten their car??? This wait is ridiculous.

Damn i still need to take some pics.. But I'm definatley taking my time breaking mine in! I just passed 100 miles today and its been about 36 hours since I've had her... But I'm satisfied b/c after all, I did come from a 95hp civic.. This wait is NOWHERE close to the waiting I did a few weeks ago!

Got mine today. It came in this morning. I had to sweet talk them into getting the state inspection done at a local gas station since the service dept. was closed. It took a while, but it's in my garage now. Love this thing...

Got mine this afternoon, so those of you who had cars offloaded from Courage in Charleston should have yours soon, if you don't already.

I was able to get in a couple of hours of top-down driving before a front came into the Charlotte area. Severe t-storms, and possible hail expected tonight, so it's under cover for now.

It's an incredible vehicle, yet very familiar (it's my 4th 3-er). There will definitely be a learning curve on the iDrive/Nav, but I think I'm going to love it. The rigidity for a convertible is nothing short of incredible. Surprisingly quiet with the top down, as far as listening to the (much improved) sound system, or having a conversation is concerned. And it's very coupe-esque with the top up.

More power than any sane person would need -- but then, I'm old enough to remember the Carter Administration, when a 0-to-60 time in the 8s was considered fast.

Yes, ED on 3/9. Dropped it off 3/11 unfortunately. I signed the dropoff papers w/ Thomas on 3/9 and simply left the car in the parking lot on Sunday 3/11. Trip was short, but extremely fun.

I have MT.

How many people who did ED got their cars already? Did the ED cars take longer because the are not pre approved by customs?
