If a man is truly a master of his craft, alcohol isn't needed. Drinks are nice to have for a meet and greet, but are not required to accomplish said mission. Was thinking this as well. If so, it means she is most likely not a gold digger and looking for something genuine. Could potentially be a really good thing for OP.

It could also be a front... so have to be careful.

Yeah - I have definitely considered that. I wonder if she thinks I see her a a play toy that will be fun for a while but nothing worth keeping. This is why I'm trying to just play it cool, give her space, but still spend time together. Let her see that I'm genuine. The Lambo pants is part of what made me really like her - that she had enough respect to go buy those to protect my cars not even knowing how often she'd sit in them. I'd like her butt to be in them more often than not, but she didn't know that.

I agree - to me that was a really attractive trait to buy clothes purely to protect my cars that she knows I love, but she loves them too - she's so excited to work on them. Just loves cars.

And I don't think she's a gold digger, or she wouldn't put me through this shit - she'd just put out and try to "secure me"

As for doing the dirty, it will happen when it happens. Can't rush this one.

Sounds like you need to keep the text pretty casual and not like you're hitting on her. How did the conversation go the other day? Can you follow up with "Hey - if you have any further questions or want to chat about your career any time let me know" type thing - just re-open the dialog, and see if she responds?

Keep in mind though, that I am completely useless with women and have no success, so I wouldn't ever take my advice

The age difference could also be making her feel reluctant if she's never been with someone older. Just a thought, not trying to discourage you, but rather give you the perspective of someone closer to her age.
