For me the decision is easy, convertibles are not allowed in the advanced group of track days/DE's of any of the organizations I run with, or plan to run with. Add to that the extra weight of the e93 cabrio and its just not my thing.

It's hard to say which I would pick if I were you, you obviously like cabrios and that's cool.
