So what are your predictions?
We saw a hard battle between VER and NOR last week and my guess is we'll see it again. And for sure both the Merc drivers will try to race hard to win their home GP. And where is ferrari? Can they do anything meaningful? My prediction: 1. NOR 2. VER 3. HAM 4. LEC 5. SAI 6. PIA 7. RUS 8. ALO 9. TSU 10. GAS

Hard one, in sheer pace the RB was by far the fastest car in Austria, it was due to tactics, tires and a pitstop mistake that Norris could catch up. I also have the feeling that Norris is going to lose his cool and try too hard wich will cost him some places
I think: 1. VER 2. PIA 3. PER 4. NOR 5. RUS 6. LEC 7. SAI 8. HAM 9. GAS 10. RIC |

Williams also running a tribute livery, has the name of every employee on the union jack. Still feel they could have put more effort in to make this more of special design, nice gesture though.
Once again redbull incapble of making a special livery actual special |

My Wife and I are going to be there this year.
We’re currently in Oslo and we’re flying down to London to meet a group of friends and stay at the “wonderful” Milton Keynes for the weekend. Bus from Mk to and from the track each day and seats at Woodcote. Fly back to Bergen on Monday. Can’t wait and another track ticked off the list. |

Enjoy good circuit and it really is crazy fast in places but being full F1 you do sit a fair bit away from the action. Always seem windier that you expect as well with it being an old airfield.
Also the museum is pretty good and better than I expected if you can book a slot to go round whilst your there. I've been in the pits and stood on the pit wall which is great but it really shows the elevation change from one side to the other and how much it drops away for the exit to dip before it returns to the circuit, not sure it adds anything mind to be honest. |

All - attached some Silverstone shots I took when I was last there for a very junior meet, was great as you could drive and part behind the pits and drive around the entire outside of the circuit and nobody stopped us! When I went with the F1 teams it was in the old pits not the current layout unfortunately. Oh my were the cars louder it was permanent hearing damage in 5 seconds flat if you weren't' careful it was almost painfully loud a times.
In the photos you can see what the pits actually look like before the F1 team arrive and the pit stop lines from the F1 teams are still there in the pits. You could go into the paddock club as well, crazy expensive on an F1 day! |
