Sunroof wont close
So I finally get my car back after a month in the body shop and when I go to close the sunroof, it goes from open to tilted, not closed..
Anyone know how to fix this? |

No, but for now, you may want to manually close it by accessing the mechanical control.

listen. open your front dome(the front lights), and there you will find an allen socket, use your tool kit allen wrench to manually "crank" the sunroof closed. This i beleive should work. read the manual for further details its around pg 116 or something i saw it not too long ago

It just needs to be reset. There's a way to do it with the key in a certain position and holding the sunroof button, but I don't remember exactly. You can just search the forums and you'll find it.

I would tell it to close, and be standing outside the car and have my dad controling it. When it would finally come to a complete close right before tilting, I would tell him to reverse it, then it would stop

try this (from another forum):
To reinitialize - with sunroof closed, push switch (as to move into vent position) and hold for several seconds (10-20) until roof makes additional move toward open position. Switch off ignition switch for several seconds, switch ignition back on (no need to start) and move switch so as to close sunroof. If sunroof moves to closed, it is reinitialized. |
