Having trouble taking off Shift Knob on my E92..

Took off the boot and gave it a good TUG.. NOTHING.... I mean I gave it a really good TUG... I don't know what to do... I see mainly people with e90's here that have changed out their stock knob for another.... Anyone? thanks.

put it in 3rd gear, and pull really, and i mean really hard. that's how i did it with mine.

I suggest putting it in 2nd gear and then trying it. Be careful when pulling the darn thing, you might end up busting your nose or hitting the rear view mirror pulling on it super hard. It took me about 5 minutes of effort and it came off.

2nd gear is how my car was done. It didn't put up a fight though, knob came off after only 1 try.

2nd gear and pull like no other... it takes a lot of effort, but as it should. I would hope that most customers dont want their shift knob to pop off easily...
