More crazy airline passengers getting duct tape treatment (video)

This is just getting out of control man. I remember seeing another case on a different airline a number of weeks ago where the flight crew used duct tape to keep a woman in her seat after she tried opening one of the emergency exit doors and attacked an attendant during a flight. WTF is going on lately?

This video is pretty funny though, especially the reaction of the passengers behind this dude.

Always on a Frontier or Spirit flight…you get what you paid for. And while the dude was in the wrong, duct taping him was a bit embarrassing. Airlines will get sued for sure.

An Air Marshal has already confirmed they carry and use Duct Tape to subdue passengers. There was another video a couple weeks back where a lady tried to open the door on the plane and was duct taped.

I’ve several friends that are pilots and wives are flight attendants etc. the stories they have told lately are over the top.

Good luck. Dude is on tape being drunk and belligerent. I suspect they could tire the court out running every other passenger through the bench saying they feared for their safety.

After 9/11, if you act like that on a flight, not going out like Len Koenecke is a blessing.

Yeah the guy is a moron and drunk and should be prosecuted fully but I kind of feel sorry he is in that bad of a place mentally he as to act that way and be so destructive to other because he can’t control himself.

Should have taped a drink to his hand so he could sit there and wish he could drink it.

I'm glad they taped his ass to the chair. First off he was being a flaming douche canoe & became beligerant to the staff. I am mad the flight attendants got suspended though, I think that is complete BS. If they did nothing and the passenger kept abusing people and being a danger to everyone, the attendants would have gotten reprimanded for inaction. So they decide to handle the situation instead of having this clown physically abuse the staff for the rest of the flight or worse....and they get in trouble for that? I think the airline should back their staff instead of suspending them.

They could at least screen their stories before posting them. The video says it is AA flight out of MPLS, the story is about a Frontier flight out of Philly...

News sources have been getting sloppy over the past few years.
