2 tone steering wheel??

i had the oem 2 tone cinn steering wheel for my E46 M3 and my friend had the red one to match the interior of the car the cinn and the imola red

they came over from germany as they weren't available in the states. i have fox red interior now and would like to do the same thing. does anyone know if they still make these kind of steering wheels??

any info would be great and if they do make them and someone can get one for me i would make it worth your while

thanks in advance

For some reason BMW simply did not offer too much of an interior Individual program for this M3 as they did for the E46 M3; it is the same exact Individual interior program as the regular 3-Series, not even different colors. The Individual steering wheel currently offered is black with a wood insert, no bicolor wheels as before.

BMW do not sell OEM leather hides anymore either, so not even a bicolor wheel with the right shade of leather can be custom-made.

I keep looking at the pictures of my old E46 M3 and just marvel at the best 3-Series interior so far and wonder what the hell BMW was thinking when they designed the current piece of furniture crap layout that we have right now...

pics do no justice for the 2 tone matching steering wheel. i loved mine and got so many compliments on it. i had so many mods done to my E46 M and out of all of them i got the most compliments on the steering wheel. it was def one of my fav things about the car. i prefer my E46 interior over this bland one they gave us now

Had this on my E46 aswell, I totally agree with technic, dont know what bmw did with the current interior. The interior on the E46 was sooo much nicer. not to mention when you get into an Audi S5 it really makes the M3 look like a POS.

Technic, still absolutly love your E46, that interior is sick!

I was looking to spruce up the interior so I did the center peice in alcantara. A bit more sublte, but seems like you could do the center trim piece in Fox Red or Gray and it would be alot easier to do without all the re-stitching of the wheel.
