The M Coupe sees the occasional track day, though a project at work means it's been over a year.

Too much detail in the wall, Seth. The visual mass of it overpowers the girl. That much negative space is fine, but not when it draws the eye like it does.

think maybe a square crop would work better? and even up the negative space to about the same amount as below her feet?

yeah and this time the detail was how I lit it (single light about 75/80 degrees on right). If it was just some processing I wouldn't have pushed it so far. However, I do like some of the detail in it - kinda gritty.

The trees in our front yard are in bloom. They look awesome for 2 or 3 days each year. Then the flowers go away and the "fruit," whatever it is, makes a damn mess.

With all of my tattoo related photos recently, I figured I'd share the work I had done. A memorial tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This was finished up yesterday:

Thanks, man. I'm really happy with it. The tattoo artist and I have been planning and designing it for the last 1.5 years. Took about 11 hours to complete.

Impressive for that ISO. But why the low shutter speed? At f4 and ISO 12800, I would think it would need to be fairly dark to use 1/100 ss.

I was in Av mode. I chose f/4, did auto ISO, and it chose that shutter speed. It was pretty dark outside when I took the photo.
