2021 FIA Formula One World Championship Predictions
I will kick us off here with the assumption that we do all 23 races.
1. RBR finishes a dismal 5th or 6th in the championship with the finishing order being: Merc, McLaren, Ferrari-Alpine-Aston Martin, Red Bull, Alpha-Tauri, HAAS, Williams, Alfa Romeo. 2. Sergio Perez outscores Verstappen. 3. Sir 7ewis wins 14 or 15 races. 4. RIC finishes Runner-Up in the Championship...his highest finish to date. 5. Six or seven different drivers will win races this year: HAM, PER, RIC, NOR, BOT, VER, LEC. Flame suit on!!!

1st and 5th one is interesting MK..
i ve looked for 2020 predictions topic but couldnt find it interestingly.. 1. i believe RB will be strong but Max will fall into some controversy with the team and his ground will be loosen in RB or with Perez that he ll get some damage from.. or Red Bull wont able to manage both drivers fairly and this will be a big problem and attention from public.. 2. Perez will have his best season of his racing career ever, he ll be on fire but he ll do some weird mistakes but wont repeat again.. 3. i hope Lewis wins the championship again.. 4. McLaren will be much much faster on each track.. their car will be grippy and fast as well.. 5. Lando and Ricciardo will makes us laugh a lot on social media.. they probably have their own cartoon again with childish sincere drawings.. but they ll have heated battles on track with respect.. 6. if Ferrari falls even deeper this year, Leclerc will be considered by Merc' or RB.. contract part will be solved.. 7. Bottas will have a big shunt or this time will totally understand he wont able to beat Lewis and leave.. 8. Vettel start the season in a superb mood.. but if he cant deliver something that he can be satisfied in first 5-6 races this will be his last season.. but he ll keep some position in the team.. 9. Kimi retires at the end of this year.. 10. Sainz will have problems competing with Leclerc.. 11. probably 1-2 races will be cancelled or postponed at least..

Ok, since we are going out on a limb. I think RBR will do a little better than 5th or 6th. Just not sure how much better. I like your thoughts on Sergio outscoring Max. Not sure it will happen, but I got your back on that one. Hammy won't turn a wheel. Nothing would make me happier than Merc giving the seat to Russel. I could be very happy for Danny. All of those you selected are capable of winning a race. I'm trying to pick an outlier..... Things of interest for me. Seeing how Stroll does against Vettel. I think he will do better than most are giving him credit for. I also see Vettel leaving the sport at the end of 2021. Alonso and Ocon. I hope Alonso does well and hope to see him on a podium or two. This could be my outlier victory mentioned above. I see Haas stumbling in the beginning of the season. Not sure how much help (direction) they'll get from Ferrari. And of course this whole schedule thing. There are already rumors of Australia not happening... |

I think Lewis will win his 8th and after that all bets are off. Any of the above could be a possibility and then some. That is why I'm so excited for the 21 season, which we all think will be unpredictable in a good way. Can't wait!

Well sir, upon being beckoned I feel I should make some outlandishly accurate and foresight assisted predictions
1. Merc will still win constructors and Ham (so long as he signs) the WDC 2. Mclaren will once again finish third in constructors, neither really gaining or losing additional ground. 3. Ric and Norris will indeed provide loads of entertainment, however, we will not be privy to most of it outside the few memes on IG seemingly restricted on their ability to goof in public. 4. RBR, REN and AMR will all suffer from the same outcome as McLaren with marginal improvement at best. 5 BOT to leave Merc at end of season with potential upset of he and Kimi retiring. 6. Ferrari finishes 6th in constructors with zero podiums. That’s it off the top op my head. I reserve the right to add additional information when not at the gym |

I predict that Red Bull with Perez and Verstappen will be FULL is petty infighting and snarky comments! Pretty safe prediction I think....especially if Perez gets off to a great start!

2. Mclaren surprises with its new Merc power unit and finishes 2 or 3 in the constructors. 3. Austin Martin takes a few steps back with the signing of Vettel 4. RB fights internally (no big surprise here) and externally with Mclaren for 2/3 place 5. Williams finishes ahead of HAAS, and HAAS cleans house.

Hmmm...you have to fancy the bookies favourites, Lewis and Merc, for both championships.
Bottas similar results as every year. I'd like to see McLaren come on strong and fight for wins...Daniel has the ability and I reckon he will outscore his talented team mate Norris. RB will have a mediocre start and improve throughout the season...sooner or later though, they will have to give up on the high rake design and copy Mercs long wheelbase. Verstappen will continue to blow hot and cold...fast on a good day but offset by too many errors, spins and crashes. Perez should be there or there abouts with Verstappen at least on some tracks. Ferrari will sadly continue to disappoint...Leclerc will outscore Sainz. Alonso will be a bit of a dick as usual, but will outscore Ocon. Then there will be the also rans....be interesting to see if Schumacher has the magic ingredient ..somehow I think not, but fingers crossed. Russell just biding his time until he gets Bottas's seat for 2022. |

The only prediction I am comfortable making at this point of the season is Daniel will podium and win more races this year than he has over the last two years with the POS he was in.
BTW, don’t know if this is being mentioned where you guys are? There are rumblings around the local news that of our GP being at least postponed due to some recent Covid spikes. Last edited by HFW003; 01-04-2021 at 08:03 PM.. |

It's true MXS not only from the Express (it tells it how it is) but from other news sources. I sometimes read The Sun! the worst now I find is the Daily Mail which is just a drama queen paper covering up realities with whitewash and rubbish gossip
