I was never all that interested in cars that require massive amounts of care and maintenance to keep them drivable and such. The whole over-the-top maintenance thing, I find a turn off. As art or engineering exercises, I get it. As something to actually own, or desire, I couldn't care less.

A really cool rat rod, with some modern conveniences, is pretty interesting to me. Something to turn a wrench on or get creative with and not worry about speed bumps or door dings.
