Importing Routes (the easy way)
I was working on an application to create compatible routes for the NBT navigation system when I discovered that the basic free version of Tyre already saves routes in BMW Format. (File -> Save As...)
http://www.tyretotravel.com/download...ad-tyre-basic/ All you need to do is copy the resulting <routename>.tar.gz file into two places and import to the car. 1. BMWData/Nav/<routename>.tar.gz 2. BMWData/Navigation/Routes/<routename>.tar.gz This is of course if you have the options coded for importing routes. |

Cool! Although I actually like the idea of letting the nav itself gen the route... since it's getting real time traffic... so I'm using send-to-car stuff, either online (google maps) or using an app on ios
