Are you guys insane? Ford 2012 GT500 is a beast. I just ran my buddies in my M3 he has a tune and pulley pushing 600whp. He spanked my ass bad no matter if it was a roll, dig or anything at that... He also gave me 8 cars from a dig and still beat me.

My personal opinion is that the "horsepower wars" have gotten ridiculous. A 550 HP Shelby.. a ZL1 Camaro with 580 HP, then a new Shelby with 650 HP, then more Shelby's with 950 and 1100 HP.. Congrats on the purchase. It's a great car! I hope it doesn't become stuck being a 550 HP daily driver, that would be a waste. Though it may not be as comfy and nice as a BMW, it's definitely an upgrade in terms of performance.

Ignorance AGAIN. You can get the OP's Shelby for under $30k, a 2013 will be north of $70k if it goes anything like it always does with Ford dealers.
