I think it depends on where you are going:
-Vegas, for me thats def not enough.
-Beach resort, right on
Although I am slightly Metro-sexual I def have a wiener so that classifies me as a male/he/him correct?

I probably wouldn't need more than a laptop bag. Non-formal of course (M).

It's less than what we would pack for that period of time. I usually don't need any more than a backpack, but my wife... she'd bring the entire house with her if she could....

Haha, maybe I should stop complaining then. 😅

I really don't get the need to take EVERYTHING, esp just for a few short days.

Me (male): That rolling bag, and a small medicine bag with my insulin and contact cases

Her: Rolling bag, CPAP, purse, shopping bag, 3 Sobakowa pillows, iPad; but potentially not her phone the first time we drive away from the house.

It's all about OPTIONS! Dresses, accessories, shoes, makeup supplies, on and on and on.

Meanwhile in my single days if I knew there were laundry services wherever I was going, I could get by with 2 outfits, 0 accessories other than my watch, and 1 pair of shoes no matter the length of the trip. Throw in my toothbrush and a pack of deodorant and I'm golden.

My wife and I used to take week-long trips by two-up motorcycle. I would give her the right-side bag to pack whatever she could fit in there. I had the left side bag which also had to include the toolkit and spare quart of oil, rain suits, walking shoes, spare glasses, and other crap among other necessities. It's nice to see after all these years Levi's recommends against washing your 501s too often. All I ever had was the pair on my body.

Our honeymoon we went to Europe (Paris, Monaco, Florence, and Rome) yeah we thought it was like the US and brought 2 rolling bags each plus a backpack. What a cluster f….
Most hotels could barely fit the bags, elevators couldn’t house us with the luggage individually….then the trains and the train stations and the gypsies. OMG!

Guess it depends on what type of weekend your doing. When I used to be in USAf My 3 day bag was in reality a 6 day bag because the jet would be broken half the time and I hated doing laundry on my time off.

I got stuck in Syria for 10 days living out of my assault pack because the Air Force kept redirecting flights. It was supposed to be 3 days max. And of course there was one working washer and dryer and no detergent to be found. Movement was great just having an assault pack, but I was really looking forward to a change of uniform and a real pillow.

Seems a bit much for sure, but I’m a man that wears the same thing everyday (tshirt, shorts and birks).
