the only place I don't carry concealed is where they have metal detectors.

I was a competitive mount biker, so I rode over 300 days a year in an area with a LOT of Black Bears. Our method to avoid bears was to affix a small bell to our pack so we were always making noise. The bears are more afraid of you that we are of them. If they hear you coming they get away. Our biggest issue was when we stopped for a break and a bite to eat since we weren't jingling our bells and we had food out.

Went to my range (Gun For Hire) today to work on some of what I learned in last week's class. Wonder if this guy is a forum member.

DROS cleared picked her up last night. Not sure how I feel about the shape of the trigger and the way the grips look but overall it's very very smooth trigger break is crazy crisp and the reset is amazingly short.

Went over to the range again today and put 200 rounds downrange. This time I rented a Sig P320 and went mag-for-mag against my HK P30. I found the Sig's trigger made it slightly easier to shoot accurately than my HK. I have to concentrate more with my HK.
I'll dry fire the rest of the week before my Urban Pistol 1 class Saturday.

Gonna go to the range on Sunday and plink away. No idea if the factory zeros that sight or not. Guessing not.
I took this to the range Tuesday. First of all, why the hell are all the ranges so darn busy? I was dumb to go to an indoor range packed with newbies figuring out their new guns. I admit it made me nervous. Never saw anyone turn one so I could see the muzzle but still I wasn't watching everyone full time. Shot patterns on targets 10 feet away were - well most hit the paper but no discernible pattern.

End result was I wasn't fine with hanging around and zeroing the red dot. Gun shot great. Same holes all the time just low and right so I'm sure I can adjust it. Need to go to an outdoor range when it's 100 out (Friday are you listening?). Also shot my carry weapon and man shooting skills do degrade without practice. I need work there.

Never has a truer statement been uttered.
More people need to make themselves aware of this truth!
(and do something about it)

I’ve wanted one of these for awhile, finally got one yesterday. POF MP5k. I imagine it’s just going to be a fun little range toy, as I can’t imagine in an emergency I’d be reaching for a 9mm with all the other cannons I have lying around. Curious to see how I like it compared to my Vector .45 enhanced.

It’s a tap gun, amazing device. .45 with next to no recoil and at 15 yards I can damned near put one round after another in the same hole. Shoot one once and you’ll be a believer!

Please get back with your comparison review between these two weapons!

I've been in the market for a nice PCC chambered in .45 to add to my collection and the vector has been calling my name... but the MP5 family is reputable and the CZ Scorpion has an appealing price TAG when compared to the Vector.

Let us know what you think after breaking in the MP5.

I am insanely jealous of your collection. Benelli is beautiful.

Here is mine:

- Radical Firearms AR-15 (optic removed while stored)
- Remington 870 12 gauge
- Glock 19 Gen 5

Right on, all nice stuff! I bought my dad a Glock 43 for his birthday, he loves it.

Hah thanks! I just recently sold a SCAR 17 in FDE too. Nice gun, but way overpriced and quite frankly HUGE. I like smaller compact weapons like bullpups.
