Lions got smoked by a 3rd string qb. 0/6 4th down conversions. From 45 points 1 weekend to 0 the next. Pats D played well and Lions made a number of fouls.

Zappee just make himself worth a lot more money. No way the Pat's go with him vs Mac Jones after his ankle gets better. Unless MJ is out for 4+ weeks and Zeppee plays amazing...even then.

I feel like the Giants drank a bunch of red bull at half time and got all pumped up. They came out swinging in the 2nd half and played with more passion. They wanted it more than the Packers.

So I got to watch the Packers lose, then watched my Vikes win against the Bears, and Detroit got pummeled. The Vikes are 4 and 1 having beaten all their division rivals already. Don't get me wrong I am disappointed in the defense and the fact we almost lost to the Bears yesterday after owning most of the first half. Feels a lot like last year but instead of losing the 1 score games, we are winning them this year.

I think we make the playoffs but lose to Dallas, 49'ers, or Eagles in the first round.

Dallas D won that game, they are one of...if not the best D in the league right now.

Say what you want about McCarthy, but he deserves some credit for this team being 4-1 with a backup QB. He reigned in his OC to develop an offensive gameplan that is efficient and doesnt try to do too much. Hes got the team playing nearly mistake free football, they had just 3 penalties yesterday and are averaging 5 per game after having 10 week 1. Not many coaches can go 4-0 with a backup qb who is playing like one of the worst in the league, outside of not turning the ball over Any other head coach is getting talked about being the Coach of the Year.

Ha ha. I need to see more consistency with 2nd half touchdown drives on the offensive side. Then on the defensive side we have allowed 8 TD's on 8 red zone trips to our opponents this year. That is a very unhealthy mix and we can't always throttle like we did to Bears in the 1st half yesterday.

I had a feeling he would be fired but not 5 games into the season. Squealers haven’t had a losing season since 1456 so I don’t feel sorry for them.

Good luck with McCarthy. And when did I say the Giants would even compete? This team is rebuilding. And I’ll be the first one on here to congratulate the Cowboys if they win the SB. However, if they faulted, don’t run and hide like you always do. At least @txstyle is always around.

That was the most fucking stupid ass play calling I have seen this entire season of any game!
4th and 1 with the entire game on the line, only needing a Field Goal, and you call a pass play??? There were any number of Run plays that should've been called.
Whomever made that call on the Raiders, should be fired tonight.

100% agreed. And the decision to go for 2 vs kick the extra point to tie was weird. I can see McDaniels back on Belichick's sideline soon.

Vikes can go all the way, as long as Cousins never plays in primetime. I might go to the game this Sunday but it should be an easy win for The Vikes as Miami now has no QB.
