What's your next car?

What car(s) are you hoping or expecting to buy next?

I am on a list for a 1st year C8Z so I won't count that as it's a given if GM ever gives us pricing & opens order banks....

I am thinking R8 V10 or a Ferrari or some sort or maybe I will, instead of looking for driver quality, just buy an already resto modded 60s Chevelle or Cutlass. Maybe buy a different kind of bucket list car & go V8 Esprit.

Too many cars, not enough money............

I haven't had a new Z since 1990. So for nostalgia purposes I'm going to get the new one in few years. I remember sitting in the back of my fathers brand new 260z. I want my son to have the same experience, but only going for a slow ride in my neighborhood sitting in the back once.

Nothing wrong with that! My 1st car was almost an 80s Z car. Tried to buy it off my grandparent's neighbor. I forget why it did not happen. I do recall that it was crap brown in color

I am hoping to keep the current fleet of cars together for another five years, then will be looking at an off-lease i4. So around 2027 buying a 2024 model which will hopefully have the new model kinks worked out and be past the semiconductor shortage. Bonus if gas prices are down by then so everyone will move back to gas guzzlers, and the EV market won't be so hot!

I've already been fortunate enough to own a few exotics, and I really don't the worry associated with driving them locally. I find now that I enjoy more subtle cars.

I was holding out for C8 Z06, but I am not willing to pay 20 - 50k over msrp for one. Will be a couple of years before the pricing on those is worth it to me. Instead ordered M4.

I have deposits down on a GR Corolla and GR86. Looking beyond those purchases I'm interested to see what Nissan does with the Nismo Z and how the G87 shakes out.

I wish I knew.

I remember when I first saw the '16 M2, the effect it had on me. I haven't had that happen since.

I really like the new Emira, but I already have a toy.

Decisions, decisions.

I have a '23 BRZ on order. Limited, Red, 6 spd with the STi short throw shifter. I ordered at the end of April, estimated delivery is August-September. But I'll be surprised if it gets here that soon.

Everything else I wanted was $55k+ and with how little I drive, it seemed silly to have that much money tied up and the payment that would go with it. I'm not ballin' out of control like some of the folks here.

Although, I have already spent $3k on suspension for it and the car hasn't even been built yet.

I'll be talking to a dealer today about a mint 2004 Z06 as a fun car. If I get it, I'll see how I like it teamed with my 2016 M235 6MT. I may sell the M235 a bit later and get a 2018-2020 M240 RWD 8AT or a 2017-2018 M2 DCT. I'm just not sure I want two manuals as my cars.

I'm in love with the 2014-2021 2 series RWD chassis and I know the 8AT and DCT are stellar.

Since I always buy used I'm shopping a few years in advance.

Since the BMW touring is gone in the US, I'm monitoring the G26 M440 GC. I'm not a big fan of the styling but maybe it'll grow on me.

Porsche Macan GTS, only if I can roof mount my road bike on it. May have to lower it and still not too keen on the styling.

VW Golf R, I like everything about it I just hope they depreciate a little bit more than the last gen.

Mazda 3 Turbo, this is a move backwards but my daughter has the regular 3 and I like the way it handles and the six speed manual. I would want a little more performance which it seems the turbo may solve.

C5Z has to be the best bang for buck performance car right now

"Enough." Curious word that's highly subjective, and the guy that drives a Hellcat and turbo Miata might not be the best source for me. lol

I want them all but they're either impossible to get or way overpriced. So it might be a while...currently waiting on my 392 Wrangler that I ordered in November and still hasn't even been built yet.
