whats the top speed on the 325sport?and 330 sport?
i heard the speed is 155(electronically limited), is ths true?especially for the 325 sport?

how fast can the 325 actually go?
how fast have you driven your e90?

yes, i believe 155 is the limit for cars w/ sports package, if not 155, then 150. i've taken my car to 130 (the maximum allowed for my car which is not equipped with the sports package).

Not sure about the 325 sport, but I know the top speed of 330i Sport Package is 155. I am pretty sure that both 325/330i with Sport Package is 155 mph though. It's listed in the full brochure but I don't have it with me.

I believe that the top speed for both cars without SP is 130. (Plenty fast really).

In Europe it's 155 for the 330i - with our without sport package...

Think it has to do with the standard suspension being a lot firmer in Europe than it is in the US.

i do 130 on a daily ocasion..... i did 147 last weekend in a race with a ricer..... he stoped at like 130.... i think he stopped because he was loosing one of his cheap as exterior body parts (not true, just what i think of ricers)....

btw... the car handles fine at those speeds, u would actually think ur going that fast if it didnt say u were...

it will definatly be able to hit 155. My whimpy e46-325i with 185hp can easily hit the limiter (~130mph), and it feels like it could keep gaining some more if i took the limiter and my ski rack off. A 3.0l 325i can definatly do 155.

wow some one called a e46-325 wimpy...if thats wimpy my car is nothin compaired to it (1987 e30 325 no letter, has the eta engin). cant wait untill i can get the e90 325ci(next year) and tap in to the 218hp. big diffrence from 128hp but my car has 173tourq. how much tourge(spelling) will the 325i have?

hehe, I dont think the e46-325i is whimpy, but most people that just read numbers think it is. if you drive a 325i you will see its pretty damn good. Anyways, the E90 325i should have about 185ft-lbs. of torque, which is about 10ft-lbs more then the e46-325i. But the E90's extra power is availble down a good amount lower, so it should have alot better acceleration

I have had a load of 6 cylinder Bmw's. I still have my baby back in South Africa, which is a 328I (E36) which has been tuned to 210HP...
And i love the Humble (and i say that sarcasticly) E46 320I right up to the Mighty 330I..........

maybe... I think it could be though... remember that there's a BIG difference in required power between 130 and 155!!! Air resistance grows exponentially.... But with a bit of tailwind and a long stretch of road it's worth a try! 160 on the speedo will equal about 155 in real speed....

very very very very true. But just my experience with other bimmers, it should be no problem for the higher powered 3.0l engine. After all, guys were hitting 150mph with their 190hp e36 325i's with a little modification.

the extra gear on the e90 should help too

I have no doubt that you guys would reach 155MPH the 325I and 330I are both limited to 155 in the UK...

My 328 E36 used to top out at about 245km/h (clock speed) which is about 150mph.... (maybe 145, true speed) and althogh the dyno said it had 210 BHP , it is 8 years old........

you needed more space, I had a 325 (no letter) also back in the day and it was good for about 125

yup, sold it about a year ago after having the thing for 8 years and putting 110000miles on it for a total of 186000
