I got to drive a Dodge Viper once. That's the most power I've experienced, it was pretty awesome. Not on a track and not my car so I didn't get to push it, even.

Fuck those are incredible cars to say the least.
I mean that in the cost of ownership & maintenence VS. Performance particularily.

They're hard to beat.

Imagine being 17 years old, and getting to take it to get detailed every 3 weeks. AND taking his Hemi Single-Cab Short bed 1500 w/400hp.

as far as ownership, it is all about what you do to make money. i am in my low 20s and i am self employed.

as far as driving the exotics, its all about connections (i owned a diablo for a year), i know a lot of people. you are on a college campus, you should be able to get to know people who have exotic cars....

modded Shelby cobra 427, best car hands down that I ever drove.

It was an original, owned by a friends father. This was back when I had my '69 Camaro pro-touring car. i drove it to his house and he saw the Camaro, pulled the shelby out of the garage and tossed me the keys.

I shit a brick when that thing started up. It was a track car that was super clean and had a modded 6 speed in it. Engine made close to 700hp on pump and the car weight in at around 2500lbs. Was running on racing slicks that day.

It was so f'ing loud it was unreal.....god the sound coming out of those sidepipes.

Luckily this guy is very well known and the local cops know he sometimes drive the car on the street so they didnt mess with me for the 20 minute drive I took.

I'll never forget that.

700hp and 2500lbs on heated slicks.........you do the math.

It would crush every car listed here so far in pure emotion, speed, and handling.

My baby. I own it so I can really drive it - as opposed to cautiously drive it.

Porsche Carrera GT is the best I've driven

But I'd say the most fun I've had driving a car was a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS. You can drive that thing 40 mph and it is fun as hell. You don't need to be going insane speeds to really enjoy it.
