But I think I will program it to start reducing my rest period by 10 seconds each set after 2-3 initial sets in and see how that goes.

Thanks for the idea! I didn't even think about something like that.
Definitely try it. I do all my EMOMs that way. It really adds to the conditioning aspect of the movement. You against the clock. It gets tough when your rest time is significantly diminished. It’s also another great way to work volume! Let me know how you do.

As for 1MM...a week may be a tad much...lol

Dialed back everything to below 75% due to nagging injuries. Just in one of those shitty lifting phases.

So I went and had my left elbow tendon worked over. Over 45 minutes of Graston, Muscle/Tendon scraping with a crazy looking tool, and trigger point release acupressure while using a resistance band to simulate overhead extensions so he could do all those treatments when the muscle was relaxed...and then tensed....and I left feeling awesome. He also adjusted my elbow which I only thought could be done on your spine and neck.

He did all of the above to the inside of my forearm as he said that the development of it was creating tension that pulled on that inner tendon.

Crazy thing was he charged me only $35.00.

Told me to try it out, and come back in a couple of weeks as he broke up a lot of adhesions.....and that it could take 2-3 treatments to set things back straight since blood supply is so limited to those ligaments.

It wasn't affecting my workout, but I could tell it was there and wanted to get ahead of it!

Good stuff Rmtt, body maintenance is a must especially at our age. I get trigger point massage usually twice a month. My favorite part is when my forearms are stripped out! Makes a huge difference in my grip strength after! Keep it up brother!

Week between sets.....you are being deceptive!

You're putting in more work than most of us by the looks of it. I've seen quite a few posts of 2 a day workouts.

Beach season coming early?

No beach season gonna stay fat for summer. Got heavy legs today with my new leistung shoes. Squat, hack, leg press, extensions, curls, calves on agenda.

As far as the more work I doubt that. I am trying to not waste sets though and exceed my limits do new mores regularly.

Went to a chiro six months ago and after getting some x rays it showed a pretty clear 2-4mm gap where my S5 and L1 are splitting apart from one another. 12mm deviation in my spine to the left that is preventing full external rotation of my shoulder and causing intermittent left elbow problems which are likely stemming from the shoulder. Hips are uneven which is causing knee problems.

So squatting/deadlifting my lower back ends up tingling about halfway through the session (always under 75% max). Keep in mind this is after a lengthy movement specific warmup/mobility session with additional work on Cat/camels and other lower back warmups.

Anyways, working through it now. Just focusing on conditioning and bodyweight movements. Just bought a mountain bike from a coworker so I'll start riding to and from work.

My new Adidas leistung shoes are the truth. So solid, did 315 for 8 pr, 365 for 3 pr, 22 reps over 315 pr, and finished with 20 reps at 225.

Also have a damn hernia, shit.

Good squat variation. Get good explosive power from stopped position. Box is only a tad below 90 degrees. What scares you bout them?
