Iphone 13
Anyone getting it? To me it seems like a solid upgrade from my older X... albeit I think these phones are now on longer replacement cycles because they have been so good since the X.
I am excited about the battery, much better camera as well as the faster processor which hopefully makes Carplay run smoother. It seems the overall reaction was muted, but I guess I don't know what people expected... you can't really do anything else to a phone. If yours still works, there is no need to upgrade... but again, what would make a person upgrade? FWIW, mine is on pre order.

I just got a 12 Pro in June so not planning on upgrading. I went from an XS so it was worthwhile but not for going from 12 to 13.

WhyPhone? I have no need for the fluff in the new phones any more. I kind of miss having just a landline (and iPad).
It will probably be a few years before I change phones, unless I break this one. |

Same. I still have a 7S and I’ll probably keep it until it gives up the ghost.

I'll buy the iPhone Max Pro 12 when they reduce the price after launch of the new iPhone 13's
I'm still rocking the 8+ - best iPhone ever (for me) just been bullet-proof, never cracked or has been jacked, and I have dropped many times. And I just use simple Apple leather case. For me going from 8+ to 12 Pro Max should be huge. I need larger size phones as I have big 'ole paws for hands, small phones 'disappear' in my hands. Cheers, Merlin

I have a 6S and it suits me just fine. When the battery started declining, I replaced it myself. A week later I dropped it and cracked the screen, so I replaced that as well. It took some patience and a magnifying desk lamp, but my 74 year old eyes did it. Like working on a wrist watch! And the replacement parts were surprisingly inexpensive!

Nope, i have 12 256GB and enjoy it! No need to upgrade the latest anymore as the one before it or even the 11 is a fantastic phone.
Got 700.00 for my 11 256GB on a promotion about 2 months ago. |

I wanted to get the 13 after dropping my XS in the river last month but couldn't go that long without a phone so I got the 12, which I'm happy with since it was a nice jump in camera quality and battery life from the 10S.

My personal phone is an iPhone X. Given that I use my cellular-enabled stainless Apple Watch Series 5 for everything and we don't have 5G here, I see no reason to upgrade.
My work-provided emergency/on-call phone is an iPhone 12 Mini. I chose it as an upgrade to my previous iPhone 7+ when the battery failed, as a break from a string of large-screen "plus" models for the "Superleggera" phase of my life. Given the extremely low hours that I put on my work phones these days, I have no reason to upgrade to an iPhone 13 model. The new larger-screen Apple Watch on the other hand...I need to see what if there are any technology or medical sensor improvements that would make it worth an upgrade to my perfectly-functional stainless Series 5.....

I have an iPhone XR
I think I'm done with phones for a while. It's time to go holographic and not have a phone at all We shouldn't be holding or charging phones, Just wear a ring on our finger or bracelet and pop-up a screen |

Mine & my wife's Xs were paid off last year and we're just going to do the IOs upgrade. No need to jump on the new phones. My battery still runs at 95% capacity.
The new phone has a better camera/faster/better battery. Not a huge deal for me. It'll just get replaced by the upgrades to the same shit next year. It's exactly the difference in the 12 vs 13. I'll just keep this Xs till the 14 or 15 comes out. I've got better things to spend $$ on.

Considering I just got the 12 mini after upgrading from a 6S...yeah, I probably won't upgrade again till the iPhone XX or something.
