First looks of the RB19 out in testing are that the changes are subtle but with the 1.5cm raised floor change (to help Merc who are in trouble of course) some intricate changes take place on the rear floor edge.
Looking at the reports so far there is still some bouncing from Ferrari and Haas,the Ferrari's bodywork in one or two places actually concaving in thanks to over thin moulding process, such is the trial and error method now to save grams of weight.

No one's coming on so I'll continue, and it's first blood to Max in the first testing session with a car panel wind indenting Sainz in second.
Second test about to begin.

As LEW goes third Max just turns the heat up and does a 1:32.837. If there is sandbagging with the limited testing time it is being done in comfort by teams knowing they have reserve and can go quicker

Yeah . I just read that the fastest lap-time is for MAX .
And a strange looking Ferrari front wing and it Isn't going well , because the Ferrari's are bouncing again !

The RB19 sidepods look like a fantastic piece of engineering !
The floor and the Venturi tunnels are completely changed , and the Red Bull drivers are sitting in a lighter cockpit tube ....
So far so good !

Charlie is out on track so if Sainz was at maximum, which I think he was, he will struggle.

As I said before LEW was staring very close at the 19 together with BOT and HULK with hands behind their backs, they can only dream of having Adrian N as a car designer

I heard they won't test with the 2023 PU .
But for MAX the race is ALWAYS on ! Even with the engine from a coffee grinder

Carlos could make a difference also, he will be more on target this year with fewer mistakes I think...and he's still whisker ahead of Charlie in the test as I speak.

Outstanding news from Japan ,
According to HONDA Japan : We worked hard during the winter break .
We tested the HONDA PU really hard with 'very aggressive power mappings and we made the engine very reliable .
This was accomplished within the 2022/2023 FIA engine-freeze regulations .
