Media Center on the Xbox 360 Sucks...Media Servers on the PS3 Are Amazing!!!

media center is WAY too slow on the 360, i always thought it was cool but the menus take forever to load...with my ps3, as soon as i turn it on, it detects all servers and files show up instantly...you can even copy them over to your hard drive with the click of 1 button!

P.S. TVersity is the most amazing program ever! it converts your avi files on the fly, so you can stream any video without waiting for it to convert!

I agree. I use TVersity, too. On the other side, XBOX can directly play DivX files so there's no need for an on-the-fly conversion.

i just tried playing two avi files, one episode of house, and one episode of south park...neither of then worked due to format issues, yet they both worked falwlessly with my PS3

all Microsoft hardware sucks. The only reason I own a xbox 360 is because of Halo.

great info guys,didnt know about TVersity till this post,downloaded it and works like a charm,now i can use the ps3 for more than a doorstop

My bro got a XBOX 3 about two months ago and it would always drag online, then his roomate got PS3 and it is as smooth as if your just playing the game, not online. Another reason why I have been preaching to my friends that PS3 is DEFINITELY the better gaming system.

No doubt its better. I have both the PS3 and Xbox 360.. I ended up getting hte 360 about a month ago since I got tired off the lack of games on PS3.. Other than the lack of games the PS3 is a great system.
