RDC location - 2018 750i

Can someone tell me where the RDC Controller is for the G11? I have seen some posts that indicate underneath rear passenger seat, some saying it is behind rear bumper, and others saying somewhere around driver's side rear wheel.

I have a TPM Malfunction and have checked all 4 TPM sensors and they seem good, so I am assuming bad RDC Controller.

Thanks in advance.

There is no separate RDC controller. Wheel electronics signals are picked up by RDC aerial that transmits this data to DSC control module where those signals are evaluated.

From ISTA.

RDC aerial

The TPM aerial is generally located on the underbody. Depending on the model series, the location can be in the front area (cross-member of A-pillar) or in the central area of the underbody.

Assumptions can run expensive. Have it scanned with diagnostic tool that can negotiate BMW's properly.

Ditto above…since the debut of the f15 X5…BMW incorporated the function of the RDC module into the DSC control module.

If your looking for the module that receives the RF signals from each wheel sensor, that eventually finds its way to the DSC control unit...then that is the remote control receiver (A203 in the illustration below).

And BG12 is correct, that module is located below the rear parcel shelf...but to get to it, requires removing the rear seat cushions, and then the rear parcel shelf (once the rear seat cushions are removed).

May I ask how did you check wheel electronics to determine that they are good?
