I played some beta last night. I was a die hard source player and played it quite competitively before BF3 came along. Played a 5v5 competitive last night and all i can say is WOW :O Definitely a new twist on an old game and the new molotovs and decoy nades add a new tactic to both ct and t. Definitely feels a lot more like 1.6 than source to me with regards to recoil and the weapon spread is much bigger than before. No more spray and pray!

Definitely gonna invest a bit of time in this game again

Did they fix all the problems that source had with the new one? Thought it was insane people could shoot at a persons foot and somehow get a headshot. I used to play 1.6 competetivaley, but Source was so horrible I stopped.

How does the recoil feel more like 1.6 than source? I'd say it's a lot worse than source... I was a hardcore 1.6 player and did my fair share of source. GO sprays are just all over the place. Or maybe my rates aren't correct... What has everyone been using?

Also I hate how they changed the buy menu and voice commands :/

And are there no pubs in this game? 10v10 pubs I mean

i got it for the pc, i hate the fact that they didnt change the tagging and flinching like in 1.6 so now its an all out who can strafe better and shoot game. Thats the one thing that really pisses me off. Oh and btw since ive been playing only xbox fps games for the last 6 years i REALLY suck now at pc lol im getting my ass handed to me.

Yeah cs go has its pros and cons nothing beats css tho whats your steam name I will send you a friend request

Its Dankoss, you talking about cs source? its alright but when it came out me and all my freinds stopped playing, it suffers from the same things as cs go, most importantly the movement.

Never really was into 1.6 started hard core in 05 with css. Now talk about golden eye for the n64 early 2000's that was the shit man remmeber friends and I sitting on the same small ass couch ona shitty tv playing golden eye splitscreen acting like a bunch of sweety homos yelling at the tv haha

Source was horrible. You could shoot someone's foot and magically get a headshot. Valve killed CS when they made Source. Just look at the amount of tournament attention Source had in comparison to CS 1.6, extreme opposites. I actually used to play 1.6 competetively and when Source dropped, I stopped playing because of the awfulness.

played source too much for a long time lol but when i bought my house and wasnt at my parents anymore i only have my lap top that wont support it. lol so now i need a new computer FML! lol

and catalina wine mixer.. i feel like i saw that name b4... where did you typically play cs:s? what servers i mean

the hit boxes were pretty bad.. but i still had a blast playing regaurdless

Got a copy from Steam on my iMac from the special Holiday promotional discount... played online for a while now, and seems as fun as the OG 1.6 version, but with upgraded graphics. Curious, how many are playing on Xbox Live??
