Nope just the normal one, does say on the bottle founded by Marnier Lapostolle in 1827 with Cordon Rouge tag so there's some affiliation with the champagne people there.

Nice selection of Islay malts.

I had a 4 day distillery tour planned on Islay in June 2020 with a mate, that we had to cancel, haven’t had a chance to rearrange yet. We had planned the guided tours of each one.

I have a bottle of Laphroaig 10 year old, Lagavulin 16 and Bushmills Blackbush in the kitchen cabinet as my everyday go to’s, and have the more unusual stuff in the dining room butlers cabinet, various Scottish malts, some Irish malts, Swedish malt and a couple of Japanese malts. I have an Islay Gin too, but not really a gin drinker, so hardly touched!

I also have a reserve bottle (first bottling from a new Scottish distillery), but it is only a 5 or 8 year old, so not expecting much from it, however, I have kept it unopened, as it’s value is higher than most of my others - but everything else is open! Apart from this one, I open every new bottle that comes into the house, so that there is no excuse not to drink it!

Enjoy your tipples!

Three greats. The QC and Ardbeg 10 are my regulars (not ultimate fav's but top of the price/value point so they are more like the daily).

That Bruichladdich is part of a 4-way study to compare types of barley and peated vs unpeated - cool to see how such a subtle thing like type of barley makes such a difference. I'm a peat lover, so I do a lot more of the Port Charlotte.

Great forum and community with great insights. I'm definitely a vodka person, especially when mixed with Monster lo-carb (the peach stuff tastes great with this), but also enjoy a variety of martinis.

When I'm feeling fancy or just tired of sweet, I go to the top shelf. I picked the Oban up from the distillery and the Douglas from a UK whiskey shop; the rest was bought in the US, except for the "Natural Energy".

I'm not much of a bourbonite, but do enjoy this Burning Chair (the glass cork is a nice touch)

Anyways, lots of interesting drink choices on here.

had a very fruitful layover in dublin on saturday! i've had the RB21 previously and it is amazing. at 160 euro in duty-free, i just couldnt pass it up. rarely seen on shelves in the US and usually marked up over $250...i've even seen it for $500.

i've tried a number of kilbeggan's bottlings and have enjoyed them all, so i'm really excited to try this new 11-year old single malt! seems like a great value at 60 euro. https://www.moodiedavittreport.com/b...ublin-airport/

This is actually one of my favorites from Balvenie - Sherry casks make a great flavor...and it's noticeable in this spirit.

Was at a shop last weekend that had Blanton's for $199. Ridiculous, I didn't like it at $70 but I wouldn't even consider over $100.

It does make me sad that I only bought one bottle of Weller at Buffalo Trace for $30. I'll never see that price again.

By coincidence that was what I was drinking last night too. Unfortunately I'm almost done w/ the bottle, but it is really good - have kept an eye out, but have not seen more of it around.

speaking of maryland…I’ve never been disappointed in a sagamore rye bottling. some are a little spendy, but they’re all really good.

I think that's because it's too big. Make them smaller. Even though it doesn't look it, I made this quite a bit smaller on my laptop. Think you can resize on your phone too even though I've never did it. I bring all pics to my laptop.

Happy belated Birthday.

Edit: I looked at the pics in this thread and some are HUGE so what do I know. lol
