+1. The flat paint doesn't help either. The exposure is OK.

Color Munki....
Maybe Chewy needs to post more of her so he can get his screen calibrated correctly?

Reed likes the reds/strawberry blondes too. They are just cuter. And yes, there's some weird jpeg editing happening there... very old picture.

In a run up to the Qatar Motor show, Scuderia Ferrari did an F1 demo in down town Doha the other day. It was pretty cool to watch. Would have been even cooler to watch from the VIP booth where they had front row seats to the donuts that made all this smoke.

I find the noise might be a little too high to be believable. if there's that much noise, there should be scratches to help emphasize the age.
just my opinion. |

needs... more... cowbell.
On a more serious note, Mark, turn down the "Recovery" a bit, since I see this halo effect around the edges. And, unless you're rodi taking pics of hot chicks, you can also turn down the added grain.

Thanks, guys. I was trying to get in a few last shots with the 135 before I send it back this afternoon. I didn't get nearly as much use from it as I had hoped.
BTW, the filters for this are from Filter Forge and they're free.

Just for comparison, here's the original shot.

Yeah, the original is pretty drab. But that's central Illinois in the winter. I need to introduce myself to that land owner, though. I'd love to be able to get some closer shots in and around that barn.

I can't see the owner being bothered by it, it's not like you're showing up with a backpack full of spray paint.

A couple months ago I was just down the street from my house shooting pics of a sunset. I had pulled just off the road a bit so no one would hit my car in the dusk. I had walked a few yards away from the car into this field to get a better shot and was shooting away when a car came by, drove onto the field, and almost ran me over. The driver demanded to know what I was doing. I told him I was just taking pics of the sunset. He launched into a tirade about it being his land and how it's only courteous to ask permission to walk onto someone else's land, yada, yada. I couldn't believe it. It's not like I was next to his house. In fact, I was several hundred yards from any structure. And I had no idea whose land it was anyway. So now I'm very cautious about being around someone's property.
