Dealer scratched car + wants to repaint panels

Dropped off my X5 45e for repair and it came back with three scratches that the dealership took responsibility for. Issue is... They will fix it but want to repaint the entire trunk and bumper. Seeing as how the scratches are small in size, do you think it's worth repainting? I'm not sure if a scratch or an entire repaint of a panel will tank the resale value more...

If you don't want to get the car repainted, why not request a check equivalent for the repair damages or credit for future services?

Always hard to see damage from photographs but IMO I would sure ask a good detailer if they can remove these with out a repaint. I'm doing a paint correction on my M4CS right now and it's pretty amazing what time and the right equipment can fix. I hate to repaint factory paint unless necessary. Issues like color match and durability often come up.
Good luck

What a joke lol

Clean it, polish it, seal/coat it.

Get some $ out of the dealer.

It's unlikely to show up on a CarFax and it's not like it's a limited/enthusiast vehicle, so I don't think resale will be effected really.

Which dealership?

Find the best detailer or body shop in your area & ask if they can smooth/touch-up/polish those areas. Send the bill to the dealer. Or have them give you a check for the amount they would charge to repaint those pieces.
