Looks like you were sucked into those MS commercials.


It looks nice, however most of the technology in that that is out dated. the 17" display is low resolution compared to other 17", it uses older DDR2 memory which is slow, and you stuck with vista and if you have any older software or hardware you want to use you will be force to down grade to XP which then you loss the 64Bit bus and ability to use more then 2GB of memory.

but hell you got a laptop under $1500
