Street and Racing version (with cameo appearance of M1, M1 Procar, Pagani Hyuara, McLaren P1, Toyota 2000GT etc.). These Japanese Gentlemen drivers have taste!

Thanks for posting - one of my all time favorites, and an early 'imprinting model' that sealed my love of BMW's at about 7yo.

Where to begin, I want to spend a day in that underground garage, and then the drive through the mountains.....absolutely spectacular.

Thanks for posting, great video......and yes I clearly need to get my wife to make more money.

japanese ppl truly know how to maintain and appreciate classic automobiles (aka youngtimer vehicles like the 80~90s AMG, M, RS, porsche etc)

http://www.garagecurrent-global.com/...190-class/289/

I love this used car dealer in Japan, sometimes I just look at these pics in awe... the leather wear and how they even cleaned the carpets....these are literally in 100% shape

Very nice, especially if it's a real CSL.
Love it in silver, just like my Dads CSI

If you get a good price, they are worth restoring. Knowing my classic cars, the CSLs (non Batmobile versions) still have room to appreciate.

On the other hand, the body work will be costly as those cars rot like the best Italians!

Very cool. I bet that garage is a solid as a rock.... wouldn't want that stable damaged in an earthquake! Nice to see the cars used. Taking a left hand drive out in those streets, best to do it early

Think you (and a few others) would appreciate these a bit. The rare and often discarded pieces are 100% original.

Ohhhhh!!! Nice! and worth a fortune nowadays, especially the "batmobile" bits. The rear wing is interesting: it was so fragile that the owners often put a support bracket from the wing to the boot so it would not break. The aero add-ons were illegal in Germany so the car was delivered with them in the boot. I believe they were deemed "legal" for other markets and mounted on the car...

This particular car is quite desirable (and it is for sale along with the M1 Procar and 3.0CS Touring)

Provenance began in France, then Monaco, Schuette Collection, Gleeson Collection, then to Japan and my former business partner's collection.

The wheel arch extensions and Touring Car Aero Front are extremely rare. They were often thrown away sadly.

Yup, racing bits were often discarded because nobody thought they'd be worth anything... That's why they are so desirable nowadays...
