I have been looking for some time for a lease (vehicles are harder to come by due to chip shortage) to step into as of later this month and nothing was really materializing.

Put a deposit down on a Silverado Trail Boss, but not super feeling it and no idea when it will come in (but probably not in time).

Today though, a blue WRX STI popped up as available at Subaru and I'm seriously contemplating it.

My issues with it is that it is 46 month lease (really long time to keep a car amirite Alfisti ) and it is a little boy racerish with the garish rear spoiler. Would have preferred it was deleted. But otherwise....hmmm. Have contacted them to arrange a time to come see it.

^^^ It's not just a little boy racerish, it's very much so IMHO. Every time I've come across one on the street, the driver behind the wheel has been a punk looking to drag race. They've usually modded their exhaust though to make it loud AF.

Well you might have a bit of boy racer in you so I dunno.

Ok, makes sense now. I doubt Subaru will budge. Original guy on the hook for the deal. They have no motivation to do a new deal.

Is there no inventory up there on new cars? My lease was up in October. I considered extending or buying at lease end but wound up ordering new. Not much wiggle on MSRP and residual plummeted so my monthly nut went up, but I got what I wanted. I’m hearing stupid shit right now regarding $ over MSRP.

Well not officially "today" but within the past couple of days I bought a new laptop and being new it has the ability to utilize Wi-Fi 6 and man does it fly. Finally able to take advantage of my AT&T gateway with IEEE 802.11ax spec. No matter where I'm at in the house, it's fast AF.

Escalades are going for $20k over sticker in the Miami area, on the Gulf we are only doing $10k over.
