Yea, I like Rubio, I'm just saying he's not at that level at the moment.

Now onto today's game...

I have no problems with Kobe shooting that much. Lakers aren't too suitable to make the extra pass anyways. As I'm not a huge fan of Mike Brown, I don't see them using any plays what so ever. So...I'd rather they go with plan "Ball to Kobe". On a sidenote, I noticed that whenever Lakers start losing, they rarely comeback and win. This is kinda the coach's job. I wish Mike Brown can do something about this.

They really need to get rid of Fisher, or at least get better PG. Lakers often lose to fast PG teams. No one in the team can keep up with fast PGs, and when they double team or get Kobe to guard the PG, it screws up the whole matchup.

Anyone notice some similarities of CP3 and Iverson?
I think passing ability and court vision are of bigger importance.

Rubio will be elite in the future, his passing abilities are already top notch averaging only .1 less assists than CP3 with a way worse cast and 6 less minutes.

He's only 13 games into his career.
Rookie assist averages
CP3 - 7.8
D.Williams - 4.5
J.Kidd - 7.7
Rubio - 8.3

And that number is going up because his playing time is.

It's his passing skills that attract my attention, but that's about it.

In that list, I only see CP3 and maybe D will as an elite. To me, an elite needs court vision. I didn't mention that before because it was somewhat a requirement for all PGs. I still think being an elite means the PG himself is a threat. In other words, he must be "double-team worthy". People like D rose, CP3, Westbrook, maybe D will...(yea, no rondo) is considered elite in my eyes.

just my opinion.

LeBron owns Kobe when they play. I don't remember the last time Kobe had a good game vs LeBron.

Not a big LA fan here, but I got to admit, Lebron has a tendency of ... how should i word it, not being clutch in the crunch time. He is unbelievable in blow outs but he seems to shy away from the moment where as Kobe... well he can take over the last 2 minutes of a close game.

Good point! Let me add, that an elite PG can raised the game of those around him. Any PG can get theirs, since they ball is in their hands a good portion of the tim. Remember Starbury?

Yup! Then again, if you can double team Wade and leave Lebron for a 3 or a long jumper... i take my chances there. Your thoughts?

I think Wade is better in Clutch and Lebron is a beast but does have off nights.

Also Heat 4-0 without Wade and 5-4 with Wade.. Weird.

That is why you double team wade and see if LBJ can come through.... The record is trange but then again, both players need the ball to be effective so perhaps they get stagnant when they are both on the court. Which is why its crucial for the Heat to go out and run on every fast break or in general.

I think because Lebron is better by himself. He doesn't show his full potential when working as a team. Not saying he's a ballhog, but he doesn't try his best when he knows another superstar is there and he has less responsibilities.

I honestly think his old Cleveland team was really good and that they can actually win the ring. Only problem was Mike Brown. I never really see him coming up with any plays other than his usual "Ball to Lebron" strategy.

We can kinda see how that strategy sucks with Kobe's team.

He is content with settling with the likes of Wade and Bosh instead of standing out. He doesnt strike me as a person who wants the ball in crunch time due to his lack of confidence in hitting a jumper. You can tell he wants to drive and power through you, but that doesnt work in late game situation. He is best when he has finishers because Anderson Varaejo made a killing just finishing LBJ's passes with layups left and right.

Not a fan of Mike Brown either. However, I can cut him some slack with Cleveland because that was Lebron's team and quite frankly he did whatever he wanted anyways.

Back on topic, I would double team everyone to leave LBJ for an open shot at the end of the game to see if he can hit it (obvisouly not a lay up). I know Wade can, I know Bosh can, but i just don't know if LBJ can.

kind of hard when you might have james jones sitting on a corner just waiting on a pass for a 3 pointer, but i see what you mean.

The Heat is playing better with out D. Wade on the floor.

I would go with what Jeff Van Gundy said. Trade Wade for Howard.

I was too lazy to quote most of your comments, but I have to say I agree with most of it. Which is why we should trade Lebron for Howard!!!!

As for him not being too clutch, I think the thing that upsets me more is how complacent he (and sometimes wade and bosh) get on the offensive side. It's almost as though he forgets that nobody can cover him one on one when he attacks the rim. He hold on to the ball too long and then settles for the contested jumper. Him and wade are the kings of slashing and getting to the rim almost whenever they want, I think sometimes they forget that. Complacency and settling is not the answer.....ATTACK!!!
