BMW wants to (finally) introduce CarPlay and AndroidAuto

According to some german news papers Klaus Froehlich (resp. for development) said that "We will integrate Android Auto and Apple CarPlay into our cars".

I'm sure this will be the new "Future Connected Drive Package" for another 2K or so...
I don't think this will be backwards compatible with our cars via an update.

Better than nothing, hopefully they will introduce this rather quick to keep up with competition.
