Which watch brands are synonymous with douchebag?

I love watches even as a kid and before I knew how expensive they were. Which watch brands are synonymous with the stereotypical "douchebag."

This doesn't mean that you are one but other non enthusiast might see you as such -- much like the beloved BMW.

I have a feeling I know which ones will win. But let's play

Kind of interesting the results so far.

I’ll never forget years ago a local hospital did tv commercials and a young male doctor read his script sitting on the edge of his desk wearing - what looked to be prominently displayed on his wrist for the audience - a two tone gold presidential oyster. That was pure vaginal wipe.

Corum watches are so outrageous who ever wears them is a character. Though anyone that wears the golden bridge gets my respect.

of course Rolex..... If someone(who doesn't know about watches/brands) thinks of an expensive watch it's going to be a Rolex, and there's plenty of douches wearing them so it will be first to come to mind for an asshole with a nice watch.

This is if we're implying everyday people thinking to this, IMO anyways

I never worry about what jewelry other people wear, and in this case a watch is jewelry.

Rolex is my favorite brand but I think it's Rolex because it's the brand that's being recognized by anyone as well as among top luxury brands .
I have heard from people saying that someone with high heels just gets in the store and says :"I want the most expensive Rolex"
I have also seen some typical famed guys that's apt for this topic wearing full gold Rolex watches with diamond covered ones and posing to make a splurge

Sorry, money can't buy class

Lots of people appreciate a mechanical time piece, in many ways it's about the engineering of the thing. If you drive an ICE that should kind of make sense, otherwise why not just get an EV? I know, your phone tells time so does mine. In fact it keeps better time than my Rolex or Omega ( I guess I'm a douche) but I have always worn a watch and always will. And I'm not 60+, yet.

would also add people who care about time, but dont feel the need to have their phone spot welded to their hand.

i've been wearing a watch since i bought my first seiko with my own money from mowing lawns at 10 years old.

Regardless of brand, nothing is douchier than a solid gold watch, particularly one that has no other positive attribute, like this gold ladies watch on a guy that might have fit 40 pounds ago.

What about AP? The choice of watch for athletes and drug dealers.
Must admit I like my AP ROO though.

I think anyone in the know with watches will tell you Hublot easily takes this honor. Thank God I never actually bought one....I will admit that I, at one time, thought about it.
