This could have interesting consequences for the global economics.

Go this route! I want to see the results!

How many of you think OJ is innocent to........

Look how hard it was to get Cosby convicted and I'm guessing there is a strong chance Weinstein may not get convicted.

it wasnt necessarily hard to convict cosby, they just dragged it out. my guess is they figured he was old and thought maybe hed croak before the trial.

there's also the statue of limitations, so if they are outside that time frame, cant convict. these women should have come forward sooner in those cases.

OJ killed her though. DA was a moron.

But, he is innocent, he even said so in that book "If I did it" and didn't necessarily admit to anything, quite the contrary (according to some).

Edit: I'd say a hung jury in the first trial necessitating a second one made it fairly hard to convict him. It was no slam dunk in the second one either.

It could actually be far better, as countries could keep their people and improve things in their own world, rather than heading for the US.

Nice hyperbole, as that was never mentioned. You're Canadian, though - I wouldn't expect you to figure it out.

Oh, shit....you're probably serious.
Despite yours and Sassica's unintelligent responses, what does the future look like for the US, if the population continues to bloat?

I've excluded Lups because she raised a pertinent issue. And, well, because she's Lups...

actually i hold two citizenships but just choose to reside here.

Your country became great because it allowed people in. Its counter intuitive to say the country should do the opposite. Saying someone from say Italy shouldn't be allowed into your country is the equivalent of saying you should kick someone out. Are you saying you should completely close your boarders because in your opinion the country has all the people it needs?

Funny thing is that I didn't find your original comment to be very intelligent so I responded in kind

Population growth is what keeps economies and countries moving. We have a low birth rate and will run into a demographic issue if we don't continue with immigration. It is also part of the reason NOW why we don't have significant wage growth. Ask Japan how their low birth rate + low immigration rate has worked out for them.

You got a ton of uneducated youth, and old people population is off the charts. You're already there.

No, saying someone shouldn't be allowed in today, because we are now full, is nowhere near the equivalent of saying we should kick someone out.

Yes open the borders and allow in millions of poorly educated migrants in because of "population decline". Because some how in the age of automation we need a massive labor force; and to do what, work in our factories. You know the ones we shipped over to China decades ago.

I believe that the US has 9,833,517 km2 with 33 people per square kilometre, hardly full, the poor old Uk by comparison has only 242,910 km2 with a population of 271 per km2, you guys still have plenty of room for more

Look above - we won't run into any population growth issues for another 100+ years, if we shut the door today.

Wage stagnation is very largely due to immigration.

A friend of mine recently contracted with a lawn service. They dropped off a gps-linked mower (just like a Roomba), and a guy comes 2x/month to edge. It's half the going rate for a weekly lawn service.

So you point is, the best way to grow an economy and create demand is for a country to stop immigration.
