The story is buried deep in this thread somewhere.....the first time happened during a session.

She wanted to discuss my self-proclaimed addiction to sex. I could tell that she was getting uncomfortable/aroused by listening to me. When she wanted to know details, locations, etc. is when I realized her professionalism had left the chat.

She is no longer a therapist because of me. Not because I caused problems for her after, but she realized that she didn't need to be in that profession anymore after. I actually had to start seeing a different therapist to finish my counseling....I still saw her a few times after that though.

I go back and forth as to whether or not I'm proud of some of the shit I have done/accomplished in life.

Many of the things that I used to be proud of, look like total dick moves, now that I'm older. I'm not the hottest guy on the planet. I do ok. I was just born with the gift of gab. I may not be the one to get your attention in a full room, but I've found once conversation ensues; it just seems to be the direction it goes after. I suppose a therapist was no exception, in fact probably worse as she had to listen to me describe my Penthouse Forums-esque sex acts. This thread is full of my antics. For those that haven't read it completely, I would.

I recall another member on here stating that reading it was like secretly being in the men's locker room.

Yeah I'm with cmyx6go on this one... Hitting you up after wasn't douchey either imo, better than just not acknowledging you guys ran into each other. Even with exes I'd rather be the douche who reached out after running into someone than the douche who awkwardly stared and never said anything ever again, but maybe that's just me.

I do. If I'm talking with someone, interested in them and I see them unexpectedly while out, getting up and saying hi and introducing would have been appropriate. The fact that all he asked about was her food (if that is all he said) is an admission of guilt. By not saying "hey, great seeing you last night, sorry we couldn't connect more I was with co-workers, etc," he's guilty until proven innocent. NEXT

If that had been me and my current partner, and assume I was with coworkers or similar, I definitely would have frozen and not known what to say. Then still not know what to say the next day really either. I agree it's a bit weird and he surely could have handled the situation a lot better, but I see no cause for concern. Having a go a the waiter for spilling a bit of drink, on the other hand......
