Just bought a new lens
Just bought a Tamron 18-270mm for when I travel to Europe later this year. A bit excited, I hope this new lens serves me well.
Anyone have any thoughts about this particular lens?

Here's a review of the non-PZD version, which appears to be the better of the two. Should make a good walk-round lens.

I've had nothing but excellent experiences with my Tamron lenses with my 6D. I have a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8. Tamron glass is exceptional and there is negligible difference between its Canon competition in respect to the price differential. Much better value, imo. Happy shooting.

I bought it awhile back for an unbeatable price...ended up costing $250 after rebates. I didn't have any issues with it and delivered good results for the money.
